MMMM Panchetta

We went to Buon Appetito in Little Italy tonight.

I had the usual, Gnocchi with Panchetta and a 4 cheese sauce (not usually on the menu, you have to ask). OHHHHH it was soooo good. The gnocchi was actually just good, but the panchetta was awesome. The pieces were really good size pieces (larger than usual) and becuase of that the flavor of the panchetta really came through. So smokey, so bacon like, but yet not greasy or crispy like bacon, more chewy and savory. Each piece would give you almost 10 good chews in which each chew would release this inspiring flavor.

OH so good.
